Blixx appoints Terese Thagaard as CEO

Blixx is delighted to announce that it has appointed Terese Thagaard as Chief Executive Officer.

Terese joins Blixx from TheWknd, where she was the Chief Legal Officer. Prior to this, she worked for PressEnter Group in Malta and for Leo Vegas and Kindred Group for several years.

As part of her new role, Terese will be focused on delivering on the company strategy that is fixed until 2026 and driving the continued growth and success of Blixx.

Emily Micallef at HappyHour Group who owns Blixx, said “ Terese will play an integral role in this next phase of the growth of Blixx. Her knowledge and expertise will enable Blixx to continue to deliver great results whilst at the same time navigate the ever changing regulatory landscape in the worldwide iGaming industry”.

Blixx recruits new Chief Product Officer

Blixx has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Christian Melin as Chief Product Officer. Christian joins Blixx from Casimba in Gibraltar where he worked as Head of Gaming. Prior to that, Christian worked at Entain for several years, where he eventually became Head of Product (US Gaming).
